Iaconelli Back in the Top 10 at Bassmaster Tennessee Triumph

Mike Iaconelli started the year strong with a tenth place finish at the Bassmaster Classic, disappointingly for Mike, that was his last top 10 finish; until Sunday. Throughout the year, Ike had an unbelievable 11th place finish with 112+ lbs. at Falcon Lake, and barely missed the cut at Amistad, but over the last few tournaments, Iaconelli's finishing positions have been in the 60s.

On Sunday, Ike's 44lb 3oz. 4-day total weight was enough to capture a 9th place finish, $14,000 in prize money, and rocket him 10 places up in the angler-of-the-year points standings from 36th to 26th. Iaconelli excelled at Old Hickory, catching 14 lbs. on day 2, when many top pros zeroed, and a large percentage failed to catch a limit.
