Ike in Top Ten at Bassmaster Elite Series Event on Lake Amistad

There's something to be said for a lake that takes 27lbs. 9oz. to be in 9th place after day 1. The Bassmaster Battle on the Border began on Lake Amistad in Del Rio Texas on March 8th. 4 anglers had bags over 30lbs., and though Ike is near the top, he's unbelievably 9lbs. behind leader Steve Kennedy.

The field will be cut to the top 50 after tomorrow's weigh-in.
