Iaconelli Finishes 66th at Bassmaster Champions Choice on Lake Champlain

12 lbs. a day just wasn't enough to make the cut at Champlain. Ike was in 50th position coming into day 2, but Ike came in with 12lb. 2oz., about a pound and a half from making the top 50 cut. This marks the lowest finish for Ike this Bassmaster Elite Series season, and the first time he didn't make the day 2 cut.

In the Angler-of-the-Year points race, Dean Rojas (47th in Champlain tournament, 2nd in AOY points), Kevin Wirth (27th in Champlain tournament, 3rd in AOY points), Steve Kennedy (22nd in Champlain tournament, 4th in AOY points), and Kevin VanDam (14th in Champlain tournament, 5th in AOY points) all have a chance of making the final cut to 12 anglers after the day 3 weigh-in.

The next stop for the Elite Series is a Major at Lake Wylie, NC. Angler-of-the-Year points are not awarded at this event.
