Iaconelli Wins Citgo Bassmaster Elite Series Southern Challenge

At midday Iaconelli left his day 2 and 3 location to return to sight fishing. Iaconelli scraped out a limit with a finesse presentation, and squeaked past Alton Jones, by 2 ounces to win the BASS event on Lake Guntersville.

The win comes with an end to the frustration of missing final cuts, a $100,000 paycheck, and a boost in the Angler of the Year points. Iaconelli is now 3rd in the points with 1042, under Dean Rojas with 1082 (finished 11th at Guntersville), and Greg Hackney with 1046 (finished 43rd at Guntersville).
