Iaconelli Takes the Lead After Day 3 at Lake Guntersville

After day three, Iaconelli not only has the lead at Guntersville, and a chance to win the $100,000 prize money, he also stands to improve significantly in the Angler of the Year points. Iaconelli, Dean Rojas, and Takahiro Omori will all be fishing the final day, and all are in the top 10 for Angler of the Year.

Iaconelli again brought one of the biggest bags to the scales on Saturday. Alton Jones, the previous leader, brought in a significantly smaller bag, which was further reduced in size by 2 expired fish.

Iaconelli continues to work with a mixed bag of techniques, and has several patterns that he hopes to utilize to maintain his lead on the 4th and final day Sunday.
