Iaconelli 5th in BASS Angler of the Year Standings After 2nd Elite Series Event

Iaconelli is starting this year's point race the way he ended last year, close to the cut. Iaconelli started this year with a 16th place finish at Amistad, and 13th at Sam Rayburn. He only missed the 12-man cut by 15oz. Greg Hackney went on to win the event, and consequently take the AOY points lead. Currently Iaconelli is 5th for AOY points, and 3rd in the Bassmaster Elite Series Power index.

The next BASS event is on South Carolina's Santee-Cooper, March 30th - April 2nd.
