Avena, a rising young star in the Fishing League Worldwide (FLW), is one of the first anglers to come out of the FLW College Fishing series and make the FLW Tour Division. Like Mike, he is active in promoting the sport of fishing among youths, sponsoring an annual tournament for kids in the Vineland, NJ area.

Martens, a six time Bassmaster Elite champion and 2013 Toyota Angler of the Year, has chased bass since his youth in California. Now an Alabama resident and a marathon runner, he will fish against Mike and 54 other contenders in the 2015 Classic on Lake Hartwell.
