Iaconelli Boat Wreck on Tournament Day 2

While navigating the Sabine River, sources tell BASS that Mike Iaconelli hit something in the water. He then lost control of the boat and ended up trailoring his boat by way of the partially-submerged saplings and an accomodating river bank. Apparently Mike took the "Let's Go Places" slogan too seriously and tried to take himself, his marshal, and his BassCat/Yamaha rig places only his Toyota should go.

BASS reports that Mike and his marshal are fine, no word, thus far on the status of the BassCat and Yamaha.

March 19th : Update on Boat Crash
In Iaconelli's new Bassmaster article about the boat crash, Mike writes, "Another thing about all this is that my BassCat wasn't hurt much at all. I broke the mount for my Lowrance unit, snapped a couple of rods into two pieces and scratched it up a bit but that's about all. There's no hull damage and no damage to the Yamaha outboard."
