Fans Select Mike Iaconelli For Toyota Trucks All-Star Week

Thanks to many fans, and their humbling support, Mike Iaconelli has been voted into the Bassmaster Toyota Truck All-Star weekend for a second straight year, receiving the most votes of any angler! Over 400,000 votes were cast for Elite series anglers, from which 4 anglers would be added to a field of 8 pre-selected anglers to fish in the All-Star weekend.

The field of 8 was comprised of Angler-of-the-year Brent Chapman, defending All-Star champion Ott DeFoe, and Terry Scroggins, Todd Faircloth, Randy Howell, Matt Herren, Kevin VanDam and Edwin Evers. The 4 anglers who were voted in: Gerald Swindle, Aaron Martens, Michael Iaconelli and Skeet Reese.

The event is two stages. In the first stage, all 12 anglers fish for 2 days. The top 4 advance to match pairings and fish head-to-head with another angler. Two anglers being eliminated after the first day, and a champion being crowned on the final fishing day of the All-Star week.
