Iaconelli Maintains Lead at Bassmaster Elite 50 on Dardanelle

Mike Iaconelli maintained his lead on day 2 of the Citgo Bassmaster Elite 50 event at Dardanelle. Mike brought an 18lb. 2oz., biggest stringer of the tournament so far, to the scales, including the 6lb. 1oz. Purolator Big Bass of the Day.

With that performance, Mike makes his second consecutive day 2 cut of the series. Mike finished 9th after fishing 3 days at Smith Lake. Unfortunately, Mike's 4+ lb. advantage over Kalamazoo, Michigan pro Kevin VanDam will be eliminated, as the weight for all 12 anglers fishing on day 3 will be reset.

The 12 anglers that will begin fishing the six 'hole' course Friday May 20th are: Mike Iaconelli, Kevin VanDam, Gary Klein, David Fritts, Alton Jones, Dustin Wilks, Terry Scroggins, Aaron Martens, Davy Hite, Rick Clunn, Dean Rojas, and Zell Roland.
