Use an oversized spinning reel, like the 1205560 Model Abu Garcia Revo Premier, don't overfill the spool. Pair that with a shorter (6'6") medium-heavy spinning rod, like the Abu Garcia Veritas Spinning Rod. Feather the line with your index finger to slow the line down to get a quite lure entry in difficult places. Always turn your bale over by hand to reduce line twists. Great for clear water and heavy pressure waters.
