BASS Fishing Tournament Cayuga Lake with Mike Iaconelli Bass Fishing Video
Mike Iaconelli recaps his top 12 finish on Cayuga Lake. The tournament yielded variable conditions with days 1 and 4 being cloudy and windy while the 2nd and 3rd day were sunny and calm. During the rougher days, Mike power fished to find his bites using a Molix spinnerbait through grass. When Ike found rock mixed with grass, he pitched a heavy creature bait - specifically a berkley havoc devil spear with a 3/4 ounce tungsten weight.
On the calmer days, Ike used finesse techniques to catch his limits. A drop shot rig utilizing a berkley havoc bottom hopper. The other technique that produced was fishing the berkley havoc back slide. He would add a neko weight to the tail of the bait and would fish it in holes and sandy spots between weed clumps.
