Folks at home, Day 2 of the 2025 Bassmaster Junior National Championship was all about heart. Vegas “The Hammer” and Wally “The Whacker” came out swinging after a tough Day 1, and man… they battled. We made adjustments, stayed patient, and kept grinding.

This sport will test you. It’ll beat you down, and then it’ll give you one chance to fight back. And today, the boys showed me exactly what it means to never give up. I couldn’t be more proud of how they fished, how they learned, and how they kept pushing until the very last cast.
