When You’re Throwing a Wacky Rig… It’s TOUGH! Bassmaster Practice on St. John’s River Bass Fishing Video

Guys, fishing has been real tough for me lately…

So, with tournament season coming up, I had to break in my new BassCat before things got serious. I headed downhill to Florida’s St. John’s River to get some practice in, but man… it was BRUTAL. Florida just got hit with a historic cold front, and these fish were completely shut down. When you’re stuck throwing a wacky rig just to get a bite, you KNOW it’s tough. BUT—we did manage to catch some wild species along the way! Ended up with a weird speckled catfish and a sucker-mouth catfish in the mix. Not what we were looking for, but still cool to see. Follow along as I grind through a tough practice session, test out the new boat, and try to dial in a pattern before the season kicks off. C’mon, let’s go!
