Ike’s Last Ride | 2026 Tournament Boat Walkthrough Bass Fishing Video

Welcome to Going Ike, this is my full 2026 BassCat Puma STS bass boat walkthrough, and this rig represents 30 years of tournament evolution packed into one build. This is my last full Elite Series boat, so I went all-in on performance, safety, and efficiency from bow to stern. Big shout out to Integrated Boatworks for the clean install and VFX for the AMAZING wrap!!

On the back end, I’m running a Yamaha 250 SHO with seasonal T2 stainless props (25 1/8 cold water, 24 1/8 warm water), TH Marine Atlas CL hydraulic jack plate, Power-Pole Blades (8 ft), The Leash outboard safety system, RMP permanent stern light, and DD26 motor support and steering stops for trailering and protection.

Electronics are powered by Lowrance HDS 12 units with 3-in-1 transducers mounted on Transducer Shield & Saver L-wing jack plate mounts (dual setup for backup scanning), plus a Boat Logix dual console mount, RAM Mounts for iPad, phone, and cameras, and a USB-powered filming setup.

Power comes from a simplified Pro-Guide lithium system: 36VM75 trolling batteries, 31M235 12V cranking/house batteries, Perko battery switches, Pro-Guide onboard chargers, and a single NOCO external charge port for fast, clean charging.

Fish care and storage include TH Marine livewell vents and Oxygenator, DD26 custom glove box/step pad, redesigned BassCat STS high-back seats with under-seat storage, and smart weight distribution for maximum performance.

This is Part 1. Next week, we break down the front deck, trolling motor, and sneaky rigging techniques that turn this boat into a true tournament weapon.
