Alright everybody - this one’s special. I’m back on the boat as captain for the final Bass Nation NJ Youth tournament of the year, and my son Vegas is behind the rods! We’re up on Pompton Lake, the last stop of the season, and the pressure’s real. Every bite matters, every decision counts, and I’m doing my best to guide him without getting in the way.

It’s been a long season of ups, downs, and a ton of learning, but this tournament brings it all together. Watching Vegas fish, make adjustments, and fight through tough conditions...man, it’s emotional. That’s what this sport is all about - passion, patience, and never giving up.
