Iaconelli at Bassmaster Classic 37 on Day 1 at Lay Lake

Mike weighed in early Friday, sporting a new charcoal flame jersey, which Toyota trucks taking center stage. Mike's new jersey also featured Mountain Dew for 2007. Though all the competitors in the 37th Bassmaster Classic are using matching Triton Tr21-x boats, Ike will be riding a Bass Cat for the 2007 season.

Mike managed 13lbs. 9oz. on the first day, and sits well in the better half of anglers. After day 2, the field is cut to the top 25. The leader, Boyd Duckett, currently has 19lbs. 14oz., is followed by four other anglers with over 17lbs.
