Peaking at 4th place, Mike Iaconelli managed only 8lbs. 15oz. on the final 5hr. tournament day on Pickwick. BASS officials decided to shorten the final day because of dangerous weather conditions.

In a tournament where every angler weighed in 5 bass limits, Mike and a few other anglers were able to weed out the bigger bags. Consistent 15-20lb. bags were necessary to make the cut for the final day.

Ultimately, while Skeet Reese made a late charge, Kevin Short caught the biggest bag of the tournament (23lbs. 5oz.) on a day that lasted from only 6:10-11:15AM.

Mike's finish at Pickwick puts him in 7th place in the Angler of Year points. Like last year, the Angler of the Year points will also be used to determine the field for the BASS postseason. In 2010, the top 12 anglers will fish in the BASS Elite Series Postseason.
